Kwara United's Sanni Vows to Tackle Team Weaknesses Ahead of New Season

Date: 2025-08-11

Kwara United's technical adviser, Tunde Sanni, has affirmed the team's commitment to hard work as they prepare for the upcoming football season.

The Harmony Boys are currently competing in a pre-season tournament in Ikenne, using the opportunity to fine-tune tactics and assess squad performance ahead of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) kickoff.

Sanni, speaking to reporters, acknowledged areas needing improvement but expressed confidence in the team's development.

"It's a work in progress. The lapses we've noticed will be addressed and corrected as the tournament unfolds," he said.

Kwara United are set to begin their NPFL campaign with an opening fixture against Ikorodu City.

Additionally, they will face Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko in the preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup, a tie that presents both a challenge and an opportunity on the continental stage.
