Kwara United's Cup Heroes Rewarded with 10-Day Break After Thrilling Win
Kwara United's management has granted its players a 10-day break following their triumph in the President Federation Cup final against Abakaliki FC.
The Harmony Boys secured a 4 - 3 victory on penalties against Abakaliki FC at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Onikan, Lagos, on Saturday, 28 June 2025.
The match ended in a goalless draw after regulation time, leading to the dramatic penalty shootout.
Players and officials are expected to return to camp on Thursday, 11 July, to commence preparations for the upcoming season.
Kwara United will begin their campaign in the CAF Confederation Cup in September, with the 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season set to kick off on Friday, 22 August.
