Kwara dazzle at Lagos table tennis league
Three players from Kwara State have qualified ? for the round of 16 at the on-going male and female table tennis U-16 league holding at the national stadium in Lagos.
They are Iyanu Falana, Rofiat Jimoh and Shukurat Aiyelabegan. The championship began on Tuesday last week and ends on Friday. Kwara state which went with four male and four female players were declared the best team on the first and second days.
The female cadet team is made up of Rofiat Jimoh, Iyanu Falana, Shukurat Aiyelabegan Rofiat Abdulmumini and Falilat Mohammed.
The cadet boys are Awwal Jawondo, Issa Abdulai and Habeeb Olamilekan. Meanwhile, Rofiat Jimoh took the first position on day four of the League. Rofiat defeated Zainab Summer of Lagos 3-0.
