The Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, has described the damage of Geri Alimi Hospital by rainstorm as an act of God which should be taken with absolute
faith in Allah.

Sulu Gambari stated this in his message to the management and Chief Medical Director of the Hospital, Dr Amudu Aluko, on the incident.

The Emir, who was represented by the Magaji Aare of Ilorin, Alhaji Aremu Zubair, said the purpose of his visit was to show his care and concern over the destruction.

He, however, charged the management and staff of the hospital to continue to discharge their duties diligently.

Responding, Aluko thanked the emir and his chiefs for the visit.

The CMD, who is also the Tafida of Ilorin praised the emir on his fatherly role in ensuring peace and harmony in Ilorin Emirate.

He reaffirmed the readiness of both staff and management of the hospital to continue to discharge their civic duties and possibilities to humanity.
