Kwara United to Sign 10 New Players for 2026/27 Season

Date: 2026-07-08

Kwara United Technical Adviser, Ashifat Suleiman, has disclosed that the club will sign 10 new players ahead of the 2026/27 Nigeria Premier Football League season.

Suleiman also revealed that 20 players have been retained from the squad that featured during the 2025/26 campaign.

He appealed to the club's supporters, fans and stakeholders to be patient with the technical crew regarding the release of the list of retained and departing players.

"I want to implore our supporters, fans and stakeholders to be patient with the technical crew in revealing retained and outgoing players," Suleiman told the club's media.

"Revealing those leaving may affect their chances of pursuing opportunities elsewhere, while the retained players will be unveiled at the appropriate time."

Kwara United resumed pre-season training for the 2026/27 campaign on Monday as preparations continue for the new season.
