Kwara police arrests Kale Bayero

The Kwara state police command yesterday made another break through with the arrest of one of the notorious cultists terrorising the state, Kale Bayero Sources close to the state police authorities confirmed the arrest of the suspected cultist to The Herald.

Kale Bayero presently under detention at the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the state police command and other 117 others were declared wanted by the state police command fortnight ago.

The news of Kale Bayero and other suspects was circulated by the police shortly after the gruesome murder of late Bayo Ajia in his shop along Ibrahim Taiwo road, Ilorin.

Reacting to the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Ajayi Okasanmi said, 'I don't have the knowledge of Kale Bayero's arrest. 'But allow me to confirm from relevant authorities then I will get back to you'.

At the time of filing this report he was yet to respond to enquiries on Bayero's arrest.
