No doubt, it is only someone who has a deep knowledge of administration, who understands the vision and dynamics, who has engaged with the complex challenged of implementing key projects that can appreciate the governor because he is an astute manager of human and materials resources.
Sequel to his laudable and remarkable achievements, he is an unassuming personality who derived pleasure in putting s smiles in the face of people by using his position as veritable vehicles to contribute to the social well- being of the people.
Achievements of Maigida's administration has implemented several life-transforming programmes such as the innovative Kwara State Bridge Empowerment Scheme (KWABES) under which the government has employed 5,000 youths so far, the construction and rehabilitation of 400 basic and senior secondary class rooms, introduction of free education at senior secondary school level, rehabilitation of Ilorin, Offa, Share, Kaiama and Omu-Aran General hospitals and the disbursement of 250 million to co-operatives and under Kwara entrepreneurship model to 30,000 small business owners through the revolving micro credit scheme. Also, under the governments electrification programme, 189 communities were connected to the National Grid within two years.
To make government business more efficient and effective, Governor Ahmed also introduce a public service reform programme which includes a service character and openness across all strata of government, a first of its kind in Nigeria. For these laudable policies and programmes within 365 days in office, Governor Ahmed has won recognition from several quarters. Ahmed administration had executed projects that have direct impact on the lives of the masses. His administration has introduced number of people oriented programmes and projects designed to drive the state forward economically and socially.

Also, international vocational centre at Ajase-Ipo is a project designed to make Kwara a hub of vocational skills. The present administration has equally sunk 334 boreholes across the state and rehabilitated about 25 water works is at appreciable levels. Similarly, the administration has installed transformer in 135 communities and connected several rural communities to national grid. Equally, there has been extensive funding of Kwara State University, Malete and a reflection of this is the eight hundred and ten million naira worth engineering building recently commissioned by the Governor of Kwara State, renovation and construction class rooms and laboratories in primary and secondary. schools (about 200) are also isn progress to complement the existing ones. Another facet of this sphere is provision of portable water which is aimed at making life more meaningful for the people through the implementation of Obbo-Aiyegunle water scheme, Rore Water Scheme, Ilorin pipeline network distribution scheme and provision of stable electricity to various communities across the state.

Sentiments apart, it is very seldom of our recent politicians to disclose the cost of the capital projects implemented by them, but it is a doctrine of the Maigidalization policy to publicly disclose the worth of each projects embarked on which we see as a symbol of transparency and accountability. One hundred and fifty million naira credit loan for all artisans in Kwara State, and 100 million naira credit loan for Kwara State Association of Marketers, 100 million short loans for Okada Rider Association in Kwara State. Maigaida in Kwara has in high esteem in differentiating between politics and governance. This has widened our exposure on the objective and not subjective roles of government.
Although, Rome was not built in a day, but I still believe of Maigidazation which is a replica of Bukolalization’s pattern be tread, I see a greater and mightier Kwara Ahead of us.

All these physical developments emanated from opening of new roads, rehabilitation of existing roads and construction of new roads across the State. Other social amenities such as electricity, good water supplies, have also have attracted investors to come and invest in Kwara State.
