Adegbenro, Alebiosu, Gata win Kwara Utd NNL awards for First Round
The General Manager of the team, Alhaji Haruna Maigidasanma stated this on Monday in Ilorin while addressing newsmen.
He said the management decided to reward three players of the team for their outstanding performances in the first stanza of the Nigeria National league (NNL).
Samuel Adegbenro, won the Most Value Player (MVP), for the first Stanza of the league for Kwara United, Segun Alebiosu scooped the Highest Goal Scorer award with eight goals while Gata Adeshina emerged the Youngest Best Player for the team.
The manager while congratulating the award winners said it is a new dawn in the team now and that no one contribute positively to the team going without be rewarded.
He urged the players to reciprocate the new development by playing their hearts out in every game and focus on winning away matches in the second round of the league.
Maigidasanma again assured the players and officials that the management would do everything possible to help discharge their duties comfortably.
He disclosed that as part of the new development, the management is considering to increase some players' salary from June to reward them for their hard work and pledged that this will also go to others who improved their performances.
The general manager charged the technical crew to work hard to consolidate on their second position on the log for now and eventually overtake the league leader Wikki Tourist of Bauchi.

Kwara United second on the log after week 17 matches will travel to Lokoja this weekend to lock horns with Kogi United in a North Central derby.
