Kwara United Motivated and Ready for El-Kanemi Clash, Says Aiyenugba

Date: 2025-11-15

Kwara United goalkeeper coach, Dele Aiyenugba, has declared his team's readiness for their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday 13 clash against El-Kanemi Warriors.

Kwara United, who were on an impressive five-game unbeaten run heading into the fixture, were hoping to extend the feat when they squared up with El-Kanemi Warriors in Maiduguri on Sunday.

El-Kanemi Warriors, on the other hand, were desperate for a good result as they aimed to end their own three-game winless run in the league.

Aiyenugba admitted that the encounter would not be easy but assured that the team was motivated to secure a positive result.

"Away games are never easy, but the boys are motivated and ready. Professionalism on and off the pitch is key!" Aiyenugba stated ahead of the match.

Kwara United occupied ninth position on the NPFL table with 16 points, while El-Kanemi Warriors were in 14th position at the time of the statement.
