KWARA CAILS Appoints Mrs. Sherifat Olatunji as Substantive Bursar

The Governing Council of the Kwara State College of Arabic and Islamic Legal Studies (KWARA CAILS), Ilorin, has approved the appointment of Mrs. Sherifat Oluwakemi Olatunji as the substantive Bursar of the institution.

Her appointment was officially ratified during the Council's 189th statutory meeting held on Tuesday, October 15, 2025, and took immediate effect from that date.

Mrs. Olatunji, a native of Offa in Kwara State, is recognized for her wealth of experience and professional integrity. The institution noted that these qualities are expected to further enhance its financial and administrative systems.

The announcement was contained in a statement signed by the College's Public Relations Officer, Mr. Kadir Rasheed Arisekola, on behalf of the Registrar.

According to the statement, the Council's decision followed a rigorous and transparent selection process designed to uphold merit and accountability in leadership appointments. The College views her appointment as part of its broader efforts to strengthen institutional governance and promote efficiency in financial management.
