Tunde Sanni Hails Kwara United's Resilience After Goalless Draw with Warri Wolves
Kwara United technical adviser Tunde Sanni has praised his players for their disciplined performance in the goalless draw against Warri Wolves in Matchday 4 of the Nigeria Premier Football League.
Sanni believes the hard-earned point will serve as valuable preparation ahead of the team's crucial CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round clash with Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko.
Speaking after the match played in Ozoro, he said: "If we can survive the pressure here against Warri Wolves, we can do the same in Ghana."
The result lifted the Harmony Boys to 10th place on the league table with five points from four matches.
With the domestic campaign continuing, Kwara United now turn their focus to continental football, where they will face Asante Kotoko in the first-leg tie at Accra Sports Stadium next week.
Their next NPFL fixture will see them take on Plateau United in a bid to maintain momentum on all fronts.
