Students' Union Endorses Governor Abdul Razaq at Kwara State University Senate Session
A historic Senate sitting of the Students' Union Government (SUG), featuring presidents, secretaries, and student representatives from all tertiary institutions in Kwara State, was held on Saturday at the Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete.
This development was revealed in a video secured by Just Event Online TV on Sunday evening.
The meeting, which brought together student leaders from across the state's campuses, was convened to prepare for upcoming students' association elections. Discussions focused on ensuring a peaceful, transparent, and inclusive electoral process. Notably, attendees unanimously passed a vote of confidence in Governor Abdul Razaq's leadership.
During the sitting, the Senate passed a vote of confidence on the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON, in recognition of his unwavering support for student welfare and development across the state.
Student leaders praised the governor's numerous interventions in education and youth empowerment, reaffirming their appreciation for his continued investment in the future of Kwara students.
