Kwara Pensioners Mourn Late Chief of Staff, Prince Abdulkadir Mahe
The Nigeria Union of Pensioners (NUP) in Kwara State has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Prince Abdulkadir Mahe, the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Kwara State. The union described his passing as a monumental loss to his family, the state government, the Emir of Ilorin, Dr. Alhaji Sulu Ibrahim Gambari, and the entire people of the state.
In a condolence message signed by its Chairman, Alhaji Saidu Oladimeji, and Secretary, Comrade Abraham Jona Gana (JP), the NUP paid glowing tributes to Prince Mahe. They lauded his exemplary qualities, including discipline, sincerity, hard work, reliability, trustworthiness, and dedication.
The union emphasized the significant contributions of Prince Mahe to the development of the state and extended heartfelt condolences to the Governor, the Emirate Council, and the bereaved family.
The deceased was also described as an epitome of gentility and humility as well as a man of compassion, vision and integrity.
The NUP also said that the deceased impacted positively on several individuals and groups.
While it described his death as an act of God, the NUP said that the legacies he left behind will continue to speak for him.
The union expressed sadness that the late Prince Mahe passed on when his services were still much needed.
It implored the government of Kwara state, the Emir of Ilorin, his family and the entire people of the state to take solace in the fact that the deceased lived a fulfilled and purposeful life worthy of emulation.
While the union undoubtedly agreed that his exit has created a vacuum difficult to fill, it prayed God to grant him aljanah firdaus and give his family, Kwara state government, the Emir of Ilorin and the Kwarans, the fortitude to bear the loss.
