59th IEDPU National Conference: Governor AbdulRazaq Has Put Kwara on the Path of Progress - Prof. Oba AbdulRaheem

Date: 2024-12-25

Prof Oba Asks: Has Governor AbdulRazaq lived in A-jà-má-j??bi village?

I greet someone one can associate with who's among us in which if it were to be a place where we were observing protocol, he would be the one to grace this event last. I greet our brother, leader and governor in Kwara State, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq. I greet him and his entourage. He's the one the Almighty God has made our leader.

I want to particularly greet Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for putting this state on the path of progress. The Yoruba people have a way of praising a leader like him. They'll say a gentle yet brave man. If a lion walks gently, it's not for fear. We all know he's not the kind of showy creature. He's delivering the work God has sent him and may He lead him through.

Meanwhile, sometimes, I do think and even want to ask him now if he has lived in a village called 'A-jà-má-j??bio' (Roughly translated as One who doesn't fight for the wrong cause). I don't know if the Governor heard what I just said now on whether he had lived in Ajamojebi Village because God has been supporting his numerous endeavors and may He continue to support him.

However, I want the Governor to know that we have handed him to God to protect him and also to give him the wisdom to continue to lead Kwara State right.
