Kwara State to Represent Nigeria at International Debate Competition in Turkey
After emerging victorious at the recently concluded Presidential Debate Competition, Kwara State has earned the honour of representing Nigeria at the upcoming International Debating Competition in Turkey.
The Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board (KWSUBEB), Professor Sheu AbdulRaheem Adaramaja, announced this achievement at the Ilorin International Airport upon returning from Abuja, where the debate was held.
Adaramaja attributed the success to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq's unwavering commitment to investing in basic education, dedicating the victory to the Governor.
“We are extremely exited to have brought home the trophy again for the third time in row. This mean kwara shall be representing Nigeria at the international debating competition to be held in Turkey”, Adaramaja said.
“We dedicate the winning to our governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his supports at all time. Without him, there will be no SUBEB. We want to show to the world that his investment in the basic education of the state is beginning to yield positively.”
LEADERSHIP recalls that Team Kwara had represented Nigeria at the international debating championship in Dubai and Serbia in the year 2022 and 2023 respectively.
