Sen. Rafiu condoles family, Kwarans, over death of ex-deputy gov., Chief Joel Ogundeji

The former Kwara South Senator, Dr Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim, has commiserated with the immediate family of the deceased, the people of Iwo-Isin in Isin local government area and Kwarans over the death of a former deputy governor of the state, Chief Joel Afolabi Ogundeji.

Chief Ogundeji, who served as the deputy governor of the state between 2003 - 2011, passed on Thursday morning.

"The deceased was an experienced politician, administrator and elder statesman whose wisdom and wealth of experience will greatly be missed," the senator said. He described Chief Ogundeji as a bridge builder and a community developer who served his people at different levels.

Senator Rafiu Ibrahim prayed God Almighty to give his family and the entire state the fortitude to bear the loss.
