Chairman of the Local Organising Committee, MrsAbimbolaOlaoye, told journalists in Ilorin, on Friday, that the tournament would hold in April at the Kwara stadium complex.

Olaoye acknowledged the support of the Chairman of the association, Alh. AbdullateefAdedeji, and its Patron, Prince Oladimeji Thompson, while also acknowledging the unprecedented efforts, and investments of the state government on grassroots sports development.

She explained that the competition was aimed at discovering talented female beach soccer players and to also improve awareness about the game in the state.
