Kwara 5 New Cases are Health Workers

Kwara State has an additional five confirmed cases of COVID-19. This was contained in a Facebook post by the state government on Friday evening.

The five new cases are from test samples from staff of the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, UITH. According to multiple sources, those confirmed positive are 3 resident doctors, one consultant and one nurse.

The total number of confirmed cases in Kwara now stands at nine with two discharged. Seven cases are still active

Meanwhile, there were fifty-one new confirmed cases nationwide, bringing the total confirmed case to 493.
