Gowon, Saraki, Ahmed others eulogise Bamigboye

The youngest and longest serving first military Governor of Kwara State, the late Brig.-Gen. David Bamigboye, was buried on Saturday at Omu-Aran, Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State.

The event was attended by a former Head of State, Gen Yakubu Gowon; the Senate President, Dr.  Bukola Saraki; Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, and a former governor of the state, Senator Shaaba Lafiagi.

Also in attendance were a former governor of Kwara, Chief  Cornelius Adebayo;  General Alani Akinrinade, General Alabi Isama, Brig-Gen. Olagunsoye Oyinlola and the Founder of  Living Faith World Outreach, popularly called Winner's Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo.

Gowon described Bamigboye as an accomplished administrator and a gallant soldier who lived a fulfilled life.

Saraki, who is also a former Kwara State governor, said the deceased laid a solid foundation for Kwara State.
