The Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Ali Ahmad, yesterday said more than ever before, Nigerians must be resolute and rededicate themselves to the oneness of the nation.

In a congratulatory message to Nigerians on the New Year, he said the unity of Nigeria must be the major resolution which every citizen must strive to achieve.

He noted that as people who have gone through thick and thin together, Nigerians should be prayerful and be more patriotic to overcome their challenges.

"As Nigerians, our new year resolution must be how we can join hands to salvage the country and move out from the present challenges we found ourselves.?

We don't know why God brought us together, therefore we must do everything possible to ensure the sustainability of Nigeria", he said.
