As part of preparation for the next year's general elections, a group, Jonathan Actualisation Movement, JAM, has donated support materials to the Kwara State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party. Presenting the items at the PDP Secretariat in Ilorin, the North Central Coordinator of the Movement, Dr. Mike Omotosho said the aim of the group was beyond canvassing support for the re-election of President Goodluck Jonathan. "Our main aim is to sample opinions and collate the needs of Nigerians, especially the people at the grassroot through one-on-one interaction," he said. Dr. Omotosho who is the founder of Omotosho Foundation stressed the need for Nigerians to support President Goodluck Jonathan in his transformation drive to emancipate the country. According to him, Mike Omotosho Foundation was established with the vision of producing global leaders with significant impact on various communities Kwara. "This could be achieved through poverty alleviation and empowerment programmes targeted at the less-privileged". Receiving the items, the Chairman of the State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, Akogun Oyedepo, lauded Doctor Mike Omotosho for donating the items as part of his service to humanity. Oyedepo urged the donor tom intensify in his good work in the state and in Nigeria as a whole.
