Date: 2013-11-15

The Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed has described late Abubakar Olusola Saraki, the Waziri of Ilorin, as an exceptional political colossus  who changed the face of governance in Kwara State and beyond.

Governor Ahmed gave  this assertion yesterday in an interview with pressmen shortly after the one year special remembrance prayer for the late Waziri held at the Central Mosque, Ilorin, the state capital.

Ahmed, who described late Saraki as a great blessing to Kwara and Nigeria in general, said he evolved various strategies to entrench harmonious and good governance in the country.

He prayed, Almighty God to grant him Aljanatul  firdaus and comfort the family he left behind so as to continue to uphold his  good legacy.
