Kwara United technical adviser, Ashifat Suleiman, has urged his players not to become complacent following their impressive start to pre-season preparations ahead of the 2026/27 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) campaign.

The Harmony Boys have recorded two consecutive victories in their latest pre-season matches in Katsina, providing a positive boost ahead of the new season.

However, Suleiman believes the results should not distract the team from the work required to build a competitive squad.

"We will remain focused on our objectives," Suleiman told the club's media.

"The rebuilding process continues, and we must keep working hard despite the positive results."

The coach has continued to use the pre-season period to assess his squad, improve tactical understanding and identify areas that require further strengthening before the commencement of competitive football.

Kwara United will begin their 2026/27 NPFL campaign at home against Kano Pillars in Ilorin, with Suleiman expected to use the remaining pre-season preparations to ensure the team is ready for the demands of the new season.
