Emir of Ilorin Felicitates with Tafida Baraje on His 75th Birthday Anniversary
The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of the Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has felicitated with the Tafida of Ilorin Emirate, Alhaji Abubakar Kawu Baraje CON, on the occasion of his 75th birthday anniversary.
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari, in a statement issued on Tuesday by his Press Secretary, Dr Abdulazeez Arowona, described the celebrant as an accomplished administrator and a community leader of great substance.
The monarch commended Alhaji Baraje for his commitment and contributions to the growth and development of the Ilorin Emirate, particularly the promotion of moral values and Islamic orientation through the Abubakar Kawu Baraje Institute of Arabic and Islamic Studies, Ilorin.
He further acknowledged Baraje's numerous humanitarian works and sacrifices that have impacted positively on the state. The Emir noted that these contributions would continue to inspire generations yet unborn, highlighting his background as an erstwhile class teacher and a retired Permanent Secretary with an excellent service record.
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the celebrant more years of unprecedented accomplishments on earth in the service of God and humanity.
