Kwara United Chairman Charges Players To Redouble Efforts For Second Stanza

Date: 2026-01-07

The Chairman of Kwara United, Mr Kumbi Titiloye, has charged the players to significantly improve their performance as they resume for the second stanza of the football season.

Addressing the team on Monday following their return to training, Titiloye expressed dissatisfaction with the club's current standing, describing their first-round outings as below expectations. He warned the squad that every player must prove their worth to maintain their spot in the team.

"You must sit tight and ensure you justify your inclusion in the team with your performances," Titiloye stated.

The "Harmony Boys" finished the first half of the season in 12th place on the log, securing 24 points. The Ilorin-based side is now looking to climb the table as they prepare for their first fixture of the second stanza against Bendel Insurance.
