Emmanuel Ogbole Named NPFL Player of the Week for Matchday 14
Emmanuel Ogbole, the in-form Kwara United forward, has been crowned the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Player of the Week for Matchday 14 following his decisive performance against Heartland FC.
Ogbole's superb header in the 21st minute secured a crucial 1-0 victory, showcasing his exceptional aerial ability. The win cemented Kwara United's seventh place on the table with 20 points from 14 matches.
The 21-year-old former Nasarawa United player has been in scintillating form, scoring six goals in his last five games and bringing his season tally to seven, equalling his total from the previous season despite an early injury setback.
It has certainly been a November to remember for the Golden Ball Winner of the 2024 Nigeria President Federation Cup – match winner for Kwara United at Nasarawa United, at home against both Plateau United and Heartland – to account for nine points.
