Kwara United to Continue Playing Home Games at Ilorin Stadium, Chairman Reassures Fans
As reported by Daily Post, Kumbi Titiloye, Chairman of Kwara United, has reassured the club's supporters that they will continue to play their home games at the Kwara State Sports Complex in Ilorin.
Titiloye dismissed rumours suggesting that the stadium was unfit to host league games. These concerns arose after the Kwara State Sports Complex was listed among seven stadia banned from hosting NPFL matches.
“I want to emphasise unequivocally that our home games will be held at the Kwara State Stadium,” Titiloye told Kwara United's media.
“Our loyal supporters, fans, and football enthusiasts in Kwara should disregard any misinformation suggesting otherwise.
“The government has undertaken renovations and necessary repairs to the facilities as mandated by the NPFL at the conclusion of the previous season, adhering to international standards.”
