Lai Mohammed Mourns Passing of Kwara Monarch, Elerin of Erin Ile

According to a news report from Daily Post, the former Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of His Royal Majesty, Elerin of Erin Ile, Oba AbdulGaniyu Ajibola Olusokun II, a respected First Class Monarch in Kwara State.

Oba Olusokun served as a monarch for 41 years, dedicating himself to the welfare of humanity and leaving an enduring legacy in the hearts and minds of all who had the privilege of knowing him, stated Lai Mohammed in a statement released in Abuja.

“His reign could best be described as the golden era of Erin Ile.

“Let me express my condolences to the people of Erin Ile, Kwara State and Nigeria over this monumental loss and may we find solace in the enduring legacy of Oba AbdulGaniyu Ajibola Olusokun II,” the former Minister, who served eight years in the last administration, said.

“He lived a fulfilled life of service to God and humanity and may his spirit of compassion and wisdom continue to guide all of us.

“I pray God to grant him eternal rest and also give the people of Erin Ile the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.”
