Man Remanded For Raping Student In Kwara
An Ilorin magistrate's court in Kwara State has remanded a 25-year-old bricklayer, Ibrahim Ismaila, for allegedly raping a 15-year-old girl.
Remanded alongside Ismaila is Abdulrasheed Yusuf for the offence of negligence as the overseer of workers at a building site where the rape occurred.
The prosecutor, Gbenga Ayeni, told the court that the defendant (Ismaila) stopped the girl (name withheld) on her way from school and dragged into an uncompleted building and forcefully had sexual intercourse with her.
The Magistrate, Muhammed Dasuki, adjourned the matter to February 21, 2023.
