Kwara govt concludes out-of-school-children enrolment

Kwara state government says it has concluded arrangement to enroll out of school children in schools across the state to secure their future.

The state Commisssioner for Education and Human Capital Development ,Hajiya Sa’adatu Modibbo Kawu stated this while speaking with Journalists in Ilorin.

She said the process will enable state government to remove children of school age from streets and reduce the number of out of school children to the minimum.

Hajiya Sa’adatu explained that a Kwara learn programme has been introduced to turn around the education of children in public schools and make it attractive.

The Commissioner noted that parents in communities identified with large number of out of school children will be carried along in designing method of education that will suit their needs.

She maintained that the state government has already renovated over six hundred (600) schools across the state to make teaching and learning conducive.
