Members of the University community and the general public have been invited to watch the convocation play on Wednesday 17th October, 2012.

The play which is been directed by Dr. Abdulrasheed Adeoye of the department of performing arts is titled "Eda", an opera by Duro Ladipo would hold at the Ultra-Modern Performing arts theater of the University of Ilorin by 7PM.

In a chat with the play director, Dr.Abdulrasheed Adeoye, the play would be a mind blowing one as members would be thrilled to a mind blowing performance.

Dr. Adeoye said the play is a professional performance as its crew members include Professors and Doctors at the department of Performing arts of the University.

He said the play is about how human beings can be good people and not worship money, he stated that the play is about morality as the original writer has not been known and as such is called anonymous writer.

Dr. Adeoye said the play emphasizes how one can be a good person urging members of the public to come and make sure they watch the play keenly so as to make use of the lessons.

He stated further that the drama also focuses on encouraging people to endeavour to help those that do not have any.
