Kwara: Issa Aremu is a competent candidate - Emir of Ilorin

The Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu Gambari has blessed the governorship aspiration of Comrade Issa Aremu saying he is a competent candidate.

The emir said this on Friday when the governorship aspirant visited him to receive royal blessings ahead of his party primaries slated to hold Saturday in Ilorin, the Kwara state capital.

Aremu led a mammoth crowd drawn from Labour Party and his Alapata/Babako ward in Ilorin to the Emir Palace to make his intention known to the traditional ruler.

Gambari urged Aremu to continue with his intent, describing him as a competent candidate who is fit, by all standard, to be the state Governor and even the President of this country.

The Emir said the LP governorship candidate is a man with a versed knowledge and wealth of experience who according to him has been a mover and shaker of this country and beyond.
