Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dr. Ali Ahmad, has felicitated with ?the Olofa of Offa, Oba Mufutau Gbadamasi Esuwoye II, as the monarch celebrates his 53rd birthday Wednesday.

In a congratulatory message issued by his Special Assistant on Media, Shuaib Abdulkadir, Ahmad described the traditional ruler as a progressive-minded monarch who would stop at nothing for the development of his community.

He noted that the ancient city had continued to witness tremendous development during Olofa's reign, a situation the Speaker said further proved that he is fit for the stool. As a first class traditional ruler in the state, Ahmad stressed that the monarch has never at any point in time fail to provide the needed advice for the state government.

?Describing the traditional ruler as a quintessential monarch worthy of emulation by his colleagues, he challenged other monarchs to also be committed towards development of their various communities. Ahmad, however, congratulated Offa indigenes, praying that Olofa's reign further witness peaceful reign.
