Sani-Omolori acts as N/Assembly clerk
Alhaji Mohammed Sani-Omolori has taken over as acting Clark of the National Assembly following the commencement of the terminal leave of Alhaji Salisu Maikasuwa.
Sani-Omolori was until his elevation, the clerk to the House of Representatives. He was appointed on April 20 by the National Assembly Service Commission.
In a memo issued yesterday and copied to the Senate President Bukola Saraki, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara and other principal officers of two chambers of the National Assembly, Maikasuwa said Sani-Omolori would perform the duties of the clerk.
"I am proceeding on my terminal leave from 14th May 2016 to 14th August, 2016. During my absence, the Acting Clerk to the National Assembly, Alhaji Mohammed Sani-Omolori, will perform my duties, please, " the memo said.
