Ondo NSCDC commandant buried in Ilorin

the late Commandant of the Ondo State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Alhaji Issa Shuaib, has been buried amid tears on Saturday morning in his country home, Ilorin. The late commnadant, who was confirmed the substantive commandant of the corps in Ondo State three months ago, had served in acting capacity for several months.

According to family sources, Alhaji Shuaib, aged 46, died about 6:00pm on Friday at the Kidney Care Centre of the Ondo State hospital after battling with a protracted illness.

He was buried in his private residence located in the Adewole area of Ilorin according to Islamic rites.

Kwara State Commandant of the NSCDC, Barrister Augustine Obiekwe, and his colleagues from Ekiti State, Mr. Emmanuel Ojeniyi; Osun State, Tajuden Balogun and second-in-command in the Ondo State Command, Hassan Nda attended the burial in Ilorin.

The Ondo State Command of the NSCDC under the deceased's administration, according to his colleagues created a positive image for the command in the state especially as regards the war on vandalism.
