Bees, Kwara Utd replay in doubt.

Date: 2014-12-10

The match day 30 NNL encounter between hosts, Ranchers Bees and Kwara United which was ordered to be replayed by the NFF O&D on Tuesday has now been put on hold, supersport.com can report.

The crucial clash was two goals apiece before it was discontinued on the prompting of the Afonja Warriors as both sides needed a favourable result to clinch the second promotion ticket in the Nigeria National League (NNL) division A to the Nigerian top flight.

Last week Wednesday, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Disciplinary Committee ordered that the abandoned tie between the two teams be replayed in Abuja Tuesday (today).

But Ranchers Bees' chairman, Abdulaziz Mohammed immediately challenged the verdict given by the NFF Organising and Disciplinary committee for the match to be replayed.

Abdulaziz described as miscarriage of justice the NFF O&D committee verdict for the match to be replayed.

Kwara State sports commissioner, Saheed Popoola said to supersport.com that the Afonja Warriors have been notified to hold on for the encounter.

“We have been called that Ranchers Bees have appealed the verdict, and it means the match will not hold again on Tuesday because the Appeals committee will sit on Wednesday or Tuesday, and it is from there we would know the next step,” Popoola revealed to supersport.com

Already, Wikki Tourists have taken the first promotion ticket in the NNL Division A, and the second ticket is now between Ranchers Bees and Kwara United.
