NYSC orientation course to take place in 2 streams

National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) said the Batch B orientation course for this year will be conducted in two streams for different states.

In a statement yesterday, the scheme said the Stream One exercise will be conducted from Tuesday, 5th August to Tuesday, 26th August, 2014 to take place in Lagos, Ondo, Ekiti, Kwara, Oyo, Niger, Abia, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, and Benue states.

The other states are Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Ebonyi, Edo, Enugu, FCT, Imo, Kebbi, Kaduna, Kogi, Katsina and Nasarawa as well as Ogun, Plateau, Rivers, Sokoto, Taraba and Zamfara states.

The statement said corps members posted to states listed in the Stream One category will undergo the orientation course in their respective states of deployment.

The Stream Two exercise will start from Monday, 1st September to Monday, 22nd September, 2014 for prospective corps members deployed to the following states: Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Jigawa, Osun, Kano and Yobe.
