Kwara To Ensure Payment Of Salaries, Despite Dwindling Federal Allocation

The Kwara state government has mapped out strategy to ensure that the payment of monthly salaries of workers in the state is not affected, as a result of the dwindling revenue from the federal allocation.

The state commissioner for finance, Demola Baanu announced this while briefing journalists on the outcome of the state executive council meeting in Ilorin.

He noted that although certain amounts ought to be shared by states from the federation allocation which was not shared in the last two months, the state has devised means of ensuring that salaries of workers are not delayed unnecessarily.
