Coalition Urges Quick Passage of Kwara Credit Scheme Bill
The bill is seeking to expand access to loan from the state government by business people, professionals and artisans for greater investment on their businesses.
Adediji, who spoke at an interactive meeting the coalition had with newsmen in Ilorin at the weekend, said the bill, if passed into law, would promote economy of the state, as the loan would be available for all the intended people irrespective of political lineage.
He said it would help in reducing unemployment rate in the state with employment by firms and self-employment of many graduates and other youths hitherto unemployed.
Adediji said the law would enable members of the coalition to complement the government empowerment programme to make greater number of people economically empowered.
"The professionals will support the government in giving jobs to the graduate who are not employed and they are not affiliated to any political party or group for better economic prosperity," he stated.
