The Director-General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, Senator Abdulaziz Yari, has led members of the council on a courtesy visit to Kwara State.

The delegation included at least ten former governors, former Speakers of the House of Representatives and other party chieftains.

Yari said the visit was to engage with Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and the Emir of Ilorin, Dr Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, who is also the Chairman of the Kwara State Council of Chiefs.

Responding, Governor AbdulRazaq declared Kwara State firmly behind the APC, expressing confidence in the party's electoral prospects.

The governor said the initial projection was a 70 per cent vote share for the APC against 30 per cent for the PDP.

He expressed optimism that with the leadership of the PDP in the Presidential Campaign Council, the APC is now poised for a 100 per cent victory.
