Kwara Government Completes Documentation for 10 New Doctors and 150 Nurses, Midwives

The Kwara State Government has announced the successful completion of documentation and administrative processes for 10 newly recruited medical doctors and 150 nurses and midwives into the state health workforce.

According to Dr Abdulraheem Malik, the Executive Secretary, Kwara State Hospitals Management Board (KW-HMB), all the newly recruited personnel have completed the required paperwork and clearance procedures for formal deployment.

All the new employees are hereby directed to proceed to the Administrative Department of the Kwara State Hospitals Management Board to collect their posting letters.

The new hires are expected to resume duty at their respective postings on or before 11th May, 2026.

The Board commends His Excellency, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON, for his continued investment in the health sector and human capital development. The state government's vision is reflected in ongoing efforts to improve healthcare outcomes and service delivery.

The recruitment forms part of the State Government's commitment to strengthening healthcare delivery and expanding access to quality health services across the state.

In his words, His Excellency stated:

"We believe that a healthier Kwara is a stronger Kwara. This recruitment reflects our commitment to investing in people, training healthcare professionals, and building a system where quality care is accessible to every citizen, no matter where they live."

The Government congratulates all successful candidates and welcomes them into the state's healthcare system.
