No Part of Kwara Will Be Denied Infrastructure, Says AbdulRazaq During Tsaragi Road Inspection
Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has reaffirmed his commitment to inclusive growth, stating that no part of the state will be denied access to basic infrastructure or essential amenities.
To achieve this objective, the Governor noted that his administration is extending critical projects to every corner of the state, with hundreds of kilometres of rural roads currently either completed or under construction.
The Governor made these remarks in Tsaragi, Edu Local Government Area, during an inspection visit to the 1.7km Tsaragi-Ndafa road project.
He observed that the construction has reached 50 per cent completion, with work currently focused on hydraulic structures and drainage systems.
He assured residents that the project would be delivered according to the established schedule.
During the visit, AbdulRazaq emphasised that no community should be left behind in the provision of infrastructure, explaining that this philosophy drives the widespread nature of his administration's development agenda.
He noted that the government is intentionally directing state resources to underserved areas to ensure that all citizens benefit from high-quality facilities.
The Governor received a technical briefing on the project from the site engineer, Owode Adebayo.
The road is expected to play a vital role in the local economy by connecting several farming communities within the Tsaragi Emirate to larger markets.
Following the briefing, the Governor expressed satisfaction with the pace of work and reiterated that the contractor has promised to complete the construction in the near future.
