The Kwara State Branch of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM) has conferred the honour of Grand Patron on the Founder of Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin, Alhaji Chief Abdulraheem Oladimeji, in recognition of his immense contributions to education, human capital development, and the advancement of HR professionalism.

The conferment took place during a courtesy visit by the branch to mark the conclusion of its Pre-Induction Training programme.

In his response, Chief Oladimeji expressed profound gratitude for the honour and praised the Vice Chancellor of Al-Hikmah University, Prof. Lateef Folorunsho Oladimeji, FCIPM, for his exemplary leadership, noting that the VC's embodiment of CIPM values of professionalism, integrity, and discipline has been instrumental in the institution's steady growth.

As a token of appreciation, the Founder announced an immediate donation of N1 million to the branch and pledged favourable consideration for the branch's requests for an 18-seater bus and a befitting secretariat.

Earlier, Prof. Lateef Oladimeji thanked Chief Abdulraheem Oladimeji for his consistent support, recalling that the Founder was present at his induction as a Fellow of CIPM in 2006 and has remained a pillar of encouragement ever since.

The branch, under the leadership of Mrs Azeezat Quadri Ibrahim, MCIPM, reaffirmed its commitment to advancing HR professionalism in Kwara State through its IMPACT Agenda.
