ABS FC Wants to be a Model to Other Clubs - Saraki
Owner of Nigeria Premier League side Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) FC of Ilorin, Senator Abubakar Saraki,has stated that his vision for the club,is to use it as an avenue to create employments for the youths.
In a statement signed by the ABS General Manager, Alloy Chukwuemeka,the club would strive to show true professionalism and be a model for other Nigeria Premier League clubs.
Formerly known as the Bukola Babes,the Ilorin based club,remains the only privately owned club in the league,after it was acquired by the former governor of Kwara state,Abubakar Saraki.
"The vision was to ensure the total transformation, speedy development, as well as the entrenchment of true professionalism into the league system, through a private-sector driven background," the statement read.
ABS finished finished in 15th position last season with 48th points and narrowly avoiding relegation by virtue of a superior goal difference.
