Hajj 2026: Kwara Pilgrims Board Sets Strict December 1st Deadline for Payment of N7.6 Million Fare
The Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has set December 1st as the final deadline for intending pilgrims to pay the 2026 Hajj fare of over N7.6 million.
In a statement, the Executive Secretary of the Board, Alhaji Abdulkadir Abdulsalam, said there will be no extension after the deadline.
He explained that the Board must remit all payments to the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) early to meet the timeline set by the Saudi Hajj authorities.
The statement also noted that visa processing for the 2026 Hajj will begin in February 2026, and any delay in payment may stop a pilgrim from taking part.
The Board strongly advised intending pilgrims to complete their payments, submit their international passports, take the required vaccinations, and obtain a medical fitness certificate from a government hospital.
