Kwara United's Victory Over Enyimba Sends a Strong Message, Says Sanni
Kwara United's technical adviser, Tunde Sanni, has described his team's victory over Enyimba as a significant statement of intent.
The Harmony Boys secured a 2-0 win against Enyimba in a rescheduled Matchday 16 fixture in Ilorin on Monday.
Sanni expressed confidence in his team's ability to maintain their strong performance throughout the remainder of the league season.
“If we can beat a team that represented Nigeria in the CAF competition, it shows our strength,” Sanni stated in a post-match interview.
“We are not an ordinary team.”
Kwara United moved up to 13th position on the league table with 23 points.
They will lock horns with Niger Tornadoes in their next league game.
