KWASAA Surpasses ?100M Revenue Target for 2024, Partners KWIRS for 2025 Goals
The Kwara State Signage and Advertisement Agency (KWASAA) has achieved its revenue generation target of ?100 million for the year 2024, despite facing operational challenges.
In an effort to further improve revenue collection, KWASAA has announced a partnership with the Kwara State Internal Revenue Service (KWIRS) for the 2025 fiscal year. This collaboration aims to enhance efficiency in the agency's revenue generation processes.
Speaking at a meeting with KWIRS, KWASAA's General Manager, Al-Imam Ismail Asukuti, expressed gratitude to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for granting the agency autonomy to operate effectively. He emphasized the agency's commitment to aligning the state's signage and outdoor advertising industry with global best practices to benefit residents.
Highlighting the challenges faced by the agency, the KWASAA boss seeks operational vehicles and computers to ease the agency's operations and increase revenue generation for the State.
In his remarks, the Director of the Ministries Department and Agencies, at the Kwara State Internal Revenue Service (KWIRS), Mr Omotayo Ayinla expressed the readiness of KWIRS to partner with all agencies and parastatals to improve revenue generation of Kwara.
The meeting had in attendance the Secretary of KWASAA, Mallam Abdulrahman Kuranga Yero, the Head of Billing and Operations, Alhaji Abdullahi Abubakar Gunu, and Mr Abayomi Ajiboso from KWIRS, among others.
