AbdulRazaq, Others Pay Last Respects To Wife Of Ex-CDS, Aminat Ibrahim

The fidau prayer for the late Hajia Aminat Modupe Ibrahim, wife of former Chief of Defence Staff, Admiral Sa'ad Ibrahim, was held simultaneously in Ilorin, Kwara State, and Abuja.

In Abuja, the ceremony took place at Admiral Ibrahim's private residence, while in Ilorin, prayers were held at the deceased's family home in Ori-Okoh and Admiral Ibrahim's family residence in Fagba.

The Ori-Okoh prayer was led by Justice Solihu Mohammed, former Grand Khadi of Kwara State, with many dignitaries attending from near and far.

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq was represented by Senior Adviser Alhaji Saadu Salahu, Special Adviser on Media Alhaji Bashiru Adigun, and Senior Special Assistant on Religion (Islam) Alhaji Ibrahim Danmaigoro at the prayer session in Ori-Okoh.

The governor, had in company of his special adviser ( Special Duties), Alh AbdulRazaq Jiddah, the chief press secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, Alh Saadu Salahu and Alh Ibrahim Danmaigoro, paid a condolence visit to the Ori- Okoh family residence of the deceased.

The governor and his entourage were received by the immediate junior brother of the deceased, Alh Tunde Akanbi of the Voice of Nigeria and other family members.

Hajia Ibrahim died on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 in Abuja at the age of 69 and was buried the following day at Gudu cemetery in Abuja, in accordance with Islamic rites.
