Kwara United Captain Musa Abdulafeez Out with Injury After Goalless Draw Against Ikorodu City
As reported by Daily Post, Kwara United captain Musa Abdulafeez is set to spend time on the sidelines after sustaining an injury during his team's goalless draw against Ikorodu City in a matchday three fixture held in Ilorin on Sunday.
Abdulafeez, who plays as a right-back, was appointed captain following the departure of former skipper Adewale Adeyinka to Plateau United.
“Wishing our Skipper, Musa Abdulafeez 'Olororo' a quick and smooth recovery,” Kwara United wrote on X.
“Our medics are doing everything necessary, and they've assured us that he'll be back in action very soon.
“Our thoughts and support are with you, Skippo! Stay strong!.”
