According to a report from Tribune Online, the Kwara State Internal Revenue Service (KW-IRS) has announced the commencement of the 2024 edition of the Annual Tax Quiz Competition, promising an engaging and rewarding experience for all participants.

The competition, which aims to foster a culture of tax compliance and awareness among the youth, will begin with the opening of application portals for interested schools from Monday, April 22 to Friday, May 17.

In a bid to ensure widespread participation, the service will utilize various media platforms to disseminate information about the competition's criteria and guidelines.

Organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development, the annual event seeks to nurture a generation of tax-conscious citizens and raise awareness about taxation in the state.

The preliminary stages of the 2024 edition will be conducted virtually across all registered schools in the state from Monday, June 24th to Friday, June 28.

With an increasing number of schools participating each year, the competition has gained popularity under the AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq Administration. In 2023, a record 231 schools took part, highlighting the growing interest and enthusiasm among students.
